The logo for CCC (Christ Covenant Church) seeks to communicates the following:
1) Triune God: We believe in the doctrine of the Trinity, which means that there is one God who exists as three distinct persons of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. In short, each person of the Trinity is fully God and there is only one God. We learn from the relationships exemplified by the Trinity. We can relate to God as our Father in heaven, who sent His Son Jesus Christ to atone for our transgressions on the cross and resurrect from the dead. By saving faith in Jesus Christ alone, we are sealed with the Holy Spirit to continue to sanctify us in our walk with God. The Trinity is reflected in the three leaf picture portrayed in our logo.
2) Relationships: The three leaves also portray the three main relationships that we have in our lives - our relationship with God above, our relationship with others around us, and our relationship with ourselves. This is reflective of the great commandment that our Lord Jesus Christ gives in Matthew 22: “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself." (Matthew 22:37-39 ESV)
3) Blood of Christ: We chose red leaves with a white outline for a specific reason. The shades of red portrays the blood of Jesus Christ, which washes us clean from our sins (1 John 1:7). We are holy and pure in Christ, which is portrayed by the white outline.
